Clear conscience ~ Bad memory

When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”

We are quick to judge, quick to put labels on people, quick to posture as better than others who’ve been misled, made mistakes or wrong decisions.

In the quote above from the Bible, a crowd was about to stone an adulterous woman to death. They asked for Jesus’ opinion (most likely to trap him) and he made the statement above.

Everyone dropped their stones and walked away.

That’s the clearest explanation of this I can think of right now.

We are all monsters in our own way.
